Icon on first screen not changing after changing app icon

I have changed the app icon and ran flutter pub run flutter_launcher_icons command, but the icon on first screen when app is opened is not updating. The documentation is useless

  • The issue is not from your side
  • The app icon was updated correctly
  • The problem is due to cache / incorrect run / device issue.

Please try the following steps:

  1. Completely uninstall the app from the device/simulator
  2. Run flutter clean && flutter pub get
  3. Then run this command flutter pub run flutter_launcher_icons
  4. Then Check ...
